People

People are the basis of a company. Of course, this is also valid for Ciparo Products BV. Ciparo Products BV is founded by a team of people with years of experience in doing business in China. The founders of Ciparo Products BV are:

• Thijs Cox, cofounders of one of the most succesfull export companies in the Netherlands, Ciparo BV. He speaks and understands Mandarin (Chinese) and has been living and working in China since 1990, and has worked since in the paper and plastic industry in China. At the moment Thijs Cox is responsible for the management of the five local offices with over 40 Chinese staff. Ciparo BV was nominated in 2004 for the prestige "China Trader Award".



• Joris de Caluwé, co-founder of Ciparo BV. Since mid 1990 Joris de Caluwé has been working with China from the Netherlands. Joris de Caluwé was nominated in 2005 for the prestige award "Entrepeneur of the year 2005" contest, organised by Ernst & Young.



• Chong Hu, co-founder of Ciparo Products BV and has enjoyed his education in the Netherlands. Chong Hu has lived and worked several years in China and has years of international sales experience. Chong Hu is the contact person for our clients.

Local offices

Ciparo Products BV is based in Rotterdam and is supported by five local offices in China. These local offices take care of the purchase, logistics and quality control. The local offices are managed by Western managers and employ well educated and experienced local Chinese staff. These local offices are located in the most important economic and political regions of China (Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai en Guangzhou).
